Everything you need to know about the Artona Influencer Program

We're all about creating strong and long-lasting relationships with everyone we work with. The students we photograph are at the heart of our business we wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. Every year, we photograph thousands of students and form unique relationships with each one. We get to meet their families, friends and learn about their hobbies, goals and future plans. With the conversations we have been having on our social media about #studentmentalhealth, new layers to these relationships have formed.


We want to continue growing these meaningful connections.


Last year, we started the Artona Influencer Program with this goal in mind. Although we only worked with a handful of students, the impact they had was huge. As advocates for their graduating class, they helped co-create a better Artona experience for everyone. We are looking forward to offering this exclusive opportunity again to the class of 2021.


So what exactly is an Artona influencer?


An Artona influencer is a high school student who is about to graduate. They have a history of involvement with student council or yearbook, along with these qualities:

  • Interested in gaining work experience or IDS experience with Artona that may lead to future employment opportunities

  • Comfortable to give permission to Artona to share their photos online and in schools

  • Interested in being an advocate for themselves and fellow classmates

  • Enthusiastic, collaborative and an excellent communicator

What does an Artona influencer have to do?

  • Come to our studio in Vancouver to have grad photographs taken early, in August-September. These images will be displayed in our studio, at schools, on our social media and website. We want our grads to see familiar faces!

  • Volunteer as a student coordinator at photo day at their school

  • Attend some graduation photo sessions to observe and interact with fellow grads

  • Assist with organizing a focus group with fellow grads about their Artona experience

  • Be committed to sharing about their Artona experience in person and on social media

  • Be the face of Artona at their school

What do students get for being an Artona influencer?

  • Be part of an exclusive crew and get to know Artona behind the scenes

  • Over $300 in product sponsorship

  • Complete work experience hours

  • Build a professional network

  • Gain valuable skills, including leadership, event planning, logistics and communications

How can students apply? How do they get selected?


We are currently accepting applications for the 2020/21 school year. If this sounds like something you would love to do, or maybe someone you know, please submit an application by July 31, 2020. Students will be selected by their school's Vice Principal, counselor and/or grad advisor. Due to the high volume of applicants, only the selected influencers will be contacted.
